5. Consolidation model
The consolidation model is used for consolidating the financial statements of majority-ownership investments. The most common application for this type of model is in the case of a company with multiple subsidiaries or divisions. A consolidated financial model combines the parent company’s revenue with the revenue of its subsidiaries or divisions to create a single, consolidated financial report. 6. Budget model
