Eloy Oliveira

Eloy Oliveira is the CEO of Instituto República, a foundation based in Rio de Janeiro, aimed at improving public service in Brazil through grants, research, and advocacy.

During the past years, he focused his studies on development, impact investing, and entrepreneurship in emerging markets. Eloy was one of the founders of Brazil Talk in 2014; he managed teams in projects in Latin America and Africa, besides having a decade of experience working with public-private partnerships in Brazil.

Eloy is part of the World Economic Forum´s Global Shapers. He is fluent in 06 languages.

He was born in Belo Horizonte and holds a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Laws from the Federal University of Minas Gerais.
