Marcello has several years of experience working with policy analysis, governance and education at international organizations, most recently with UNDP and UNICEF. He has coordinated projects in Brazil, United States, Egypt, Colombia, Bosnia and Senegal. Marcello is passionate about connecting young professionals to their future through quality education, social entrepreneurship and innovation.
Before founding Brazil Talk, Marcello worked as a policy officer for the Consulate General of Canada in São Paulo for a period of four years. During this time, he worked extensively with project management and coordinate the logistics of several high-level government missions to Brazil.
Born in Sao Paulo and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Marcello holds a masters degree in International Affairs with a concentration in International Security Policy from Columbia University, as well as a bachelors degree in Communication Studies from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Rio de Janeiro and a diploma in Asian Studies from Kansai Gaidai University, Japan.
