
Fernanda Ferreira is a Masters’s in Sustainability Management candidate at the Earth Institute, Columbia University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the Federal Fluminense University and a Masters degree in History and Politics from Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). Fernanda is a founding partner of a Brazilian sustainability consultancy company Planet-A, that is dedicated to scaling up SDGs awareness among the corporate sector in Brazil. Her main areas of interest are corporate sustainability and environmental policy in Latin America. She believes that companies have a crucial role in addressing environmental issues through leading sustainability performance and that strong stakeholder engagement processes and effective partnerships are pivotal to increase positive environmental impact in Brazil. After graduating, she hopes to professionally contribute to policies that bring climate change to the fore with respect to efficient development agendas.
