Clara Lanvegin is a Master’s in Public Administration in Development Practice candidate at SIPA, Columbia University. Before starting at SIPA, Clara worked at the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO) in Washington, D.C. where she assisted ITSO’s Executive Organ with various ICT related projects, ranging from rural broadband programs to emergency connectivity initiatives. She also interned at Inter-American Development Bank at the Executive Director of Brazil and Surinam’s office. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2014 with departmental honors recognition. A dual U.S. -Brazil citizen, Clara is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and has served as a translator to former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.
