Originally from Chiapas, and recently married to a Carioca, Gio is a Class of 2018 MPA-DP candidate. He holds a BA in Business with specializations in International Business and Investment Analysis from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Prior to SIPA, Giovanni was an Investment Analyst for the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) in the Manufacturing, Agribusiness, and Services Department. During the summer of 2016 and 2017, he interned at Shekere and Ashoka. Currently, Gio is interning at ImpactMatters and Veracity. Gio is currently working on starting a food-system enterprise in Rio de Janeiro.
