
Julia Leite is a Lemann Fellow and a Master of Public Administration candidate at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), with concentration in Urban and Social Policy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP). Before pursuing her Master’s degree, she has worked at the São Paulo City Hall, on the optimization of the processes for the establishment of third-sector partnerships at the City, as well as on increasing the transparency of such contracts. She is part of the NGO Vetor Brasil, which selects and mentors young professionals for working in the public policy field in the country. Her main area of interest is the application of technology and data on public policy design and implementation.
