Pedro Vormittag is an incoming Lemann Fellow and an International Dual-Degree MPA candidate at Columbia SIPA, currently also pursuing a Master’s Degree in International Management at FGV-EAESP, the Sao Paulo School of Business Administration of Fundação Getulio Vargas, Brazil. With a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of São Paulo, is also a member of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) and Brazil Talk.

At São Paulo’s Secretariat of Sports and Leisure, Pedro served in a number of leading roles such as Head of the Department of Sporting Facilities, and Project Manager of City’s Goal 22.4, an ambitious revitalization agenda of São Paulo’s public sporting infrastructure.

Advocacy officer at Brazil’s largest subnational student government organization, elected to represent approximately 1.7 million undergraduate students and manage the body’s budgetary deficits.

At São Paulo’s Secretariat of Human and Civil Rights, Pedro has served as the Deputy-Coordinator for Youth Policy, managing City Hall’s policies for São Paulo youth population (approximately 3 million young citizens from 15 to 29 years old)
