Renata Penalva is a psychologist with experience in the public Health System in Brazil. She has a specialization in Mental Health and a Master in Human Development and School Psychology from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), where she also did her undergrad. After her undergrad, she worked as a inclusive education auxiliar, as a clinical psychologist in her private office and, for 5 years, she was a public servant in Psychosocial Community Centers in Brazil, what permitted her to create intersectorial projects, specially with education, which was the theme of her dissertation in USP.  She is currently in the M.S. Program of Neuroscience and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University  and working with policy briefing in Brazil. Pronouns: She/her/hers
